-- flow/ebb after a particularly draining day, i took a nap and woke up as a cat. my hands turned paws, my nose tuned to new frequencies, my tail keeping myself balanced as i gracefully hopped off of the couch. my thoughts were simple and instinctual, my body only driven by plain desire. my body more at ease, i found myself. walking through the house from a low perspective, jumping on the kitchen counter to test my newfound agility. letting out curious meows, in turn sending my heart aflutter. later, i decided to curl up on that same couch, my soft purrs filling my body with an indescribable soft warmth as i doze off. i woke up once more from my nap, this time back to my human form. my paws turned into hands, my senses tuned back to a less crowded frequency, my soft skin brushing against itself as i stretched and sat upright. my thoughts were crowded but complex, my body driven by my self. i found myself once more, my soul more at ease. putting some care into my outfit and makeup for the day. having a simple but nice conversation with a friend. dealing with these complex thoughts through love and art, sending my heart aflutter. much later, after a particularly draining day, i curled back up on the couch and let myself doze off.
