I keep hoping for the text equivalent of The Glaze Project's Nightshade. Some stings of junk you can slip in to corrupt, crash, or poison AI tools scraping works without permission.

@deviantollam.bsky.social I've been going down the rabbit hole of adhesive solvents and I keep thinking of the tests you did on tamper evident stickers. Would you guys ever sell a kit with a few little vials of solvent like that? I hate buying a big bottle just to use literally a few drops.

I cut my sleep schedule back until I hit a point where I can function, but not so much I remember dreaming. About 4 hours of sleep, most nights. It's more sustainable than dealing with whatever fresh hell my brain cooks up. I'll get 6 or 7 on a day off and be set.

A quick scribble to warm up and make sure my pen was working before I sat down to write some Xmas cards. Which are definitely going to be late getting there this year.

Adobe users: it’s the most beautiful time of the year, where you can threaten to cancel your plan and get the price cut down from $59.99 to $29.99 for the next 12 months ✨

Manage plan-> cancel my plan -> continue and then you get this offer: (more)

I was flipping through an old folder for D&D inspiration (circa like 2009) when I was reminded of your work on DA as Antifan, and it led me to seek out your work again.

I was digging through some old pictures I'd saved for D&D character ideas, and that's what led me here, hoping to find a couple of those artists I used to follow back in that era. Maronski, lorlandchain, antifan...

I feel like we probably followed a bunch of the same people.

A TNG scene. We're in the Enterprise conference room, where Picard is holding a meeting with Data, Troi, and Dr Crusher. Barclay is also there, for unknown reasons. Maybe he wandered into the meeting and just sat down, and everyone was too polite to mention it. That happened to me once. I was visiting an office location I didn't normally go to and I wasn't quite sure which conference room I was supposed to be in. I walked into one and sat down and it took me five minutes to realize I was in the wrong meeting. From the perspective of the people in that room, halfway through that meeting, a stranger walked in, sat next to the boss, took notes for five minutes, then walked out without saying a word.

At its heart, Star Trek is a utopian fantasy about a society so advanced that they are capable of holding productive meetings that last no longer than three minutes

ART THEFT LABELER

This has the potential to make bsky so much nicer for artists and help eliminate customers from being scammed by fake artists

Let me show you how it works ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Framed painting of Dinosaur Parade by James Gurney

I created this painting "Dinosaur Parade" in 1990, before I invented the whole concept of Dinotopia. I just wanted to give a glimpse of a lost empire that humans shared with peaceful dinosaurs.

Jumping through that picture frame and living inside the painting changed my life.

Good for artists, ya, but everyone: poison random web images, memes, social uploads

A small % makes the web less safe to scrape. My 2022 mac laptop did the attachment in 3 min. Noticeable on a solid color image like this--learn to like it ;)

There are a couple good local ones, also. I can't recall the brand off the top of my head, but one company ages theirs in bourbon barrels. Really mellow with a smoky flavor that's great on beef stir fry or in sauces.

Hi! Hope you’re all voting today in this critical election.

Saw someone here spread old misinfo about glaze and nightshade being broken. If someone claims Stanford attacked / broke Glaze, they’re referring to a PhD student who wrote a pixel smoother, admitted it failed, then removed it from GitHub
