There’s plans for that with many of the transit expansion projects both within the Bay Area and with CAHSR, but yeah it’s less than ideal right now and many of the plans are still a decade away

so funny thing about the way I implemented the driver stack for this on Windows is that because I used ACPI, the I2C buses do show up even with the basic display driver (though you still need to install my i2c driver for the touch devices to show up)

it took me 10 years before I finally could write a driver for this device because I wasn't sure if I could access the GPU MMIO at the same time as the GPU driver without everything crashing
