"House of 1000 Corpses" has aged way better than I had thought it would.

"Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite of Spring" is kind of a "Joker: Folie à Deux" follow up.

In that it isn't the follow up you wanted and the pace has been brought down a bunch. Also looks fantastic.

In conclusion, the start of the season was a mixed bag. Stunk that one of the major stories ended in such a non-dramatic way, sad two cast members are gone, but we got a cool lil multi-parter episode going with Soldier Boy staying through it.

So definitely better than "Suits LA" this week.

The case this week was weird. The thematic story was Mothers do weird & illegal things for their kids.

More interestingly is that this ended up being a multi-part episode as Jigsaw from SAW 1 seems to be manipulating people to do his bidding to get his jollies off- or whatever he's up to.

That a government conspiracy was still involved.

Colter's brother, Soldier Boy, is back and he's still a gigantic dork.

Velma & Bobby both seem to be written out of the show, which isn't surprising as Bobby was being phased out last season.
