Homicide - Shillington Ave

At approx 1am, Ottawa Police attended the 1200 block of Shillington Ave for a report of a fatal stabbing in one of the buildings.
One victim was found with stab wounds and pronounced dead. Two suspects are in custody & Homicide continues to investigate.

The information I have received is what I have publicly shared.
My office is following up on another question so we will try and find more details.

Today's Update

Additional charge today in the investigation into the homicide that occurred on January 28, on Mayview Avenue.
41-year-old Selina Rose O’QUINN of Ottawa has been charged with second-degree murder. She will appear in court today.

Since Jan 18, City of Ottawa snow operations crews have removed more than 841,000 cubic meters of snow using 711 semi-trailers & 2,900 dump trucks to haul it to six snow storage facilities.

Snow removal operations will be paused starting Friday night and will resume on Sunday.

Update:

Deceased: Shawn Challis-Eatough, 28, of Brantford.

Charged: 41-year-old Steve VIVIAN of Ottawa & 19-year-old Anthony MEREDITH of Kitchener, with second-degree murder.

A 41-year-old Ottawa woman was also arrested today.
