tldr : i got a remote job, will start soon, the pay will help me qualify for housing faster, but i’m not getting any paycheck for a few weeks and even if we don’t need to extend our current rental, we’ll need help with moving costs/deposit so

we’re almost at permanent housing (it has literally been almost a full 6 months so hopefully this is it!!!)

Anyways sha with the way covid is going and bird flu everyone will eventually see that no amount of body fascism will save you from a virus

They really think I live a miserable life still taking precautions when it’s miserable because of everyone’s violence not masking and the states ableism.

It’s interesting because many people see me being fat as the cause of me being hit badly with Covid and also see it as the reason I’m still taking precautions and as long as they work on not being fat or as big as me then they don’t need to take precautions like someone like me

The way people in my life saw how Covid affected me to the point I had to be hospitalised and now in 2024 with so much info and me posting about Covid safety resources. None of them are taking any precautions.

There are no real supports for Long Covid because there are no real supports for disability.
If we had real, livable patient centred supports in place your transition into disability would have still been rocky but with a modicum of dignity and much less fear & frustration.

Reading Pet by Akwaeke Emezi and An ordinary wonder by Buki Papillion really solidified my transness for me. I really saw myself in those two characters and they’re two books that hold such a special place in my heart for me

Yup! I’d really love to know what changed this season behind the scenes. Something just felt off about this season. Overall I enjoyed it but it felt like so much happened in such a short a amount of time and they didn’t have enough time to wrap everything up well or expand on things

Right! I think part of all this is because there are so many characters and so little time. The show really needs like 20 episodes minimum per season! Everything felt so rushed. I also think the writers are just all white liberals and you can just tell with Vi’s storyline

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have parents that are supportive of you being trans like this! I wish I had parents like this.
