I guess George Lucas was ahead of his time with the Star Wars prequels. His tale of trade wars, taxation and weird incels bringing about the rise of fascism don't seem so silly anymore.

When I transitioned, I took my fursona name as my middle name, which has only served to blur the line between my fursona and myself.

So, yeah, she has a last name now. It's my legal surname.

But it's a losing strategy. It tells us all that they have nothing to offer, no morals to stand for, no goalpost that can't be moved in the pursuit of power. Follow that logic all they're offering is to be the GOP but with a friendly face.

I think they're stuck in the mindset that they only have to be slightly less awful than the Republicans and they'll just suck up votes everyone to the left of the GOP. They don't fear losing LGBTQ+ voters, because the two party system ensures they have no one else to vote for.

Laser isn't a panacea for sure, but every hair that laser does kill off is one less that you'll need electrolysis for in the long run. Laser can save you hundreds of hours of electrolysis.

A decade ago it was BMW drivers who were the butt of the joke when it came to asshole drivers, the market is completely dominated by Tesla drivers now.

Important science stuff. We need more of this in the world.

I've often found that emotionally immature people are terrified of making mistakes and can't handle being corrected, even for small things like pronouns. So instead they get all butthurt and accuse us of being fragile to protect their own ego from admitting trivial errors.

🚨 Hey guys remember how I wrote a whole article about how P25 wants to use this to gut the queer internet? Yeah, the Dems are helping them marching it in the door.

This is where the trans internet could very well die.

This is just 5 pages complaining that Trump is in power and doing bad things with no plans to do anything about it. Writing crap like this is actually empowering to the MAGA crowd. They get everything they want and all we can do in return is cry about it.

If folks ask why I didn’t transition when I was a teenager in the 90’s, half of it was lack of awareness of it as an option, but the other half was the media environment was like this:

We don’t need your permission for Pride. You can’t erase us. Queer self love is a radical act.

As funny as it might be, this also highlights how an LLM can't really be updated with new information as things change. You gotta retrain the whole damn thing when some idiot tries to legislate that Pi is exactly three.

I spent decades living like this, detached and unreal and I thought it was normal. Then when I started HRT, the distance between myself and my body just vanished, nearly overnight. It was incredible.

Losing HRT and going back into that pit of non-existence is a terrifying thought. It would kill me.

In our own words: Transgender experiences of depersonalization Those emotions that the character feels are not what the player feels.

If you don't know about depersonalization in gender dysphoria, its life-destroying impacts, and why many trans people medically need HRT on an ongoing basis to treat it, then you quite literally have no idea what's at stake for us in this: genderanalysis.net/2017/09/in-o...

This is conspiracy theory thinking.

For the people who believe in them can be no disproving it through logic. Because every piece of evidence to the contrary is just another proof that the conspiracy theory goes even deeper.

We've seen the same tactics applied by flat earthers, Qanon and antivax.

This is what coming out as trans, gay or whatever is like. It's the choice to stop dying and start living.

If the federal government stops paying for things, and they continue to expect taxes from you, at what point does it stop making sense to even be a part of the union anymore?

I seem to recall something in America's history about taxation and representation being a bit of a big deal.

It's wild that it took over a quarter of a millennium to build the US government into what it is today, and these criminals could destroy it all in the span of a single presidency.

Our mere existence proves the patriarchy and its hierarchies to be a complete sham. If someone can be happier by escaping the system or descending the hierarchy, then maybe the system isn't it's all cracked up to be. And that is terrifying if the system is what keeps them in power.

He was never a complete person. A husk of a man who could find no home, and yearned to be something, anything, else.

But he is also me. The kernel of my true self was always there. Too blind, dumb and delusional to see it and let it grow.

And I had to kill him to become the woman I am today.
