Yesterday, the House passed a reasonable, compromise, bipartisan budget and sent it to the Senate for us to consider. While Senate Democrats were ready to dig in and do the work, Senate Republicans packed up and went home. That's unacceptable. We must finish a budget now.

We had the opportunity to pass a state budget yesterday, but Senate Republicans chose to go home instead.

Stop playing politics with the wellbeing of our communities.

The PA'ns I talk to don’t want promises or platitudes—they want the lights to stay on, they want their local services to be available, and they want the dignity of knowing that their tax dollars are being put to work for them.

The state budget is 100 days overdue and Republicans are still delaying.

Their inaction is hurting the 100,000 students who depend on financial aid grants from PHEAA. These students now have to take out new loans, burn through savings, or delay higher ed because Senate Rs are playing games.

Let's be honest. The PA budget impass isn’t gridlock, it's sabotage.

Amidst the chaos and confusion surrounding federal vaccine recommendations, I applaud the actions Governor Shapiro announced today to provide clear, science-backed guidance and to protect vaccine access for every Pennsylvanian.

The PA Link to Aging & Disability Resources serving Montgomery, Bucks, and Chester Counties announced it will close its doors September 30th due to budget constraints.

I’m proud to be introducing legislation with @senvincenthughes.bsky.social and @senpisciottano.com that would require insurance coverage for vaccines approved by the FDA and recommended by professional medical societies.

I’ve been appalled by the Trump Administration’s continued attempts to create doubt and fear around established, science-backed vaccines.

We know that when vaccines are politicized and public health experts are demonized, public health suffers.

I'm working with @senatorcollett.com and @repvenkat.com on a bill that requires insurance companies to cover all vaccines recommended by health authorities regardless of the confusion coming from DC. Everything costs too much these days, so we need to keep healthcare as affordable as possible.

Today, I mourn with the officers' loved ones, and I'm grateful to all of our police and first responders who run towards danger to keep their communities safe.

I am absolutely devastated by the news of three law enforcement officers killed and two others critically injured in a senseless shooting incident in York County.

I've been fighting for paid leave since 2019, after hearing from constituents who struggled with financial stability while caring for a sick child.

Violence in any and all forms must be condemned, yet these recent shootings reflect a disturbing pattern in our country. Together, we all must ensure that political violence never becomes normalized.
