My garden House Sparrow population has had another successful breeding year. These are just some of them, I think there’s maybe about 15 now in the garden in total.

On route to a family event in Kent today we managed to sneak in a quick visit to Dungeness. Lots of beautiful noise Bitterns, Cuckoos and Marsh Frogs. Managed to snap a Whitethroat and a Whimbrel. #birds #ukbirding #birding

Had a little walk around Strumpshaw yesterday morning. Saw first Willow Warbler of the year, cracking view at the top of a dead tree singing away (didn’t have my camera out) also Cuckoo which was miles away, lots of booming Bitterns. Chilly day though. #norfolkbirding #birds #ukbirding
