And I have read a lot of Rina Kent and enjoyed some of them a lot. So it is just one of those cases where some books just aren’t for you.

It was one traumatic ride. 😆

I know for me it was not it. There were some parts that were so promising but it definitely fell flat for me.

That is so interesting! I have always liked it because it is realistic and although I do love to escape in romances, I really like when authors can capture that reality too. It makes me feel more connected to the couple in the book.

The way I want to gently smush her face and then give her chin rubs. The affection aggression is real.

The trauma dumping was overshadowing the plot which was not truly there until the last 20% of the book. I feel like this book had a lot of potential but fell flat for me. There is a lot more that I could say but this was not it. #rinakent #kissthevillian #booksky

I have read a lot of Rina Kent’s books. A lot. I was excited to read this one and I did read it in a matter of 24 hours. It is probably one of my lowest rated Rina Kent books at 3.75 stars and I almost dropped it to 3.50. It was in my mind rushed and Gareth had far too many things happening.

This was my book of the month pick and I am really curious how I am going to like it. I have heard such mixed reviews.
