Oh là là! That looks so delicious! 😋

Six pounds of Empire apples, a little sugar, a bit of lemon juice and some water. They cooked for about 20 minutes and then I used a potato masher to smoosh them but let chunks this time.

Five pints of cinnamon applesauce out of the water bath and resting on some paper towels on top of a cutting board.

I had enough energy to make cinnamon applesauce. I really had to get this done. So the recipe made 5 pint jars.
