The placard for "Placeholder" Placeholder Unknown (2019) An intentionally mysterious meta-work. It asks the viewer to think about the purpose of a placeholder. What need is it actually filing? Did the artist intend to actually replace this simple graphic and text with a "greater" work? Or is its submission a statement into itself, that the only purpose for this art is to fill negative space? The artist was kept anonymous as a bid to keep the focus entirely on the piece itself.

I think this is one of my best jokes in this game.

@chard.bsky.social and I started @peripheralplaybox.com about a year ago now... It's been a weird, stressful journey but the fact we got this far with a game that we only started concepting in March (!) and looking at releasing it 8 months later is something we're proud of.

Week, now understanding what flug said says "Ok."
