+ A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead when he was referred to as a woman... He then sighed internally, deciding to play along for the sake of diplomacy, and tell him the truth about himself when the time is right. Hopefully he won't have to lie.... +

+ Without his Universal Sense skill, he would have been startled. He calmly turned around, knowing full well that's the vampire he was targeting. His soul partner confirmed it as well. He smiled, relieved that he didn't have to get him out of his castle the hard way. +

+ Rimuru was wearing the same yukata he wore at the Summer Festival, and his hair was tied into a high pony tail. He had a satchel with contained the letter. He was in the middle of conversing with a merchant about the history of the town when he felt a hand on his shoulder. +

+ But regardless, he had to comply, thinking that the attire of a woman would make the mission easier. What could go wrong? When the sun set, Rimuru was already at the nearest town to the castle. He concealed his magic aura, as it may prevent the mission from going smoothly. +

+ Rimuru and Luminous have a good relationship, and since they mutually respect each other, he didn't oppose her request. . . . except when she told him to crossdress...... That brought some mocking looks and snickers from the other Demon Lords, especially Guy Crimson, much to Rimuru's anger... +

+ And so, the Vampire Progenitor eventually wrote one last letter, and entrusted Rimuru to have a look at the state of affairs and see if he could draw the vampire out of his castle tonight, and hand him this final letter in person. +

+ She wished to invite them to her kingdom and have them join the rest, but to no avail... She then stopped, as she had been very preoccupied with her struggle against the leader of the Giant race, Dagruel, who has been so hell-bent on taking over her kingdom to end his land's food shortage. +

+ and the remaining vampire has been living alone in that castle ever since. Luminous informed Rimuru that she wrote letters throughout the decades for the two-.. well Vespyr at first, then eventually Lucian- to move to her kingdom, but there had been no response. +

+ The castle she mentioned was outside her territory. One of her progeny, Vespyr Braven, brought a human, Lucian Sebastian Asphodel, into the castle, then turned them into a vampire. Eventually, the latter ended their lover's life. It was quite a tragic tale, +

+ and were not yet inside her kingdom, which is a safe haven for both humans and vampires alike. Humans there happily donated blood for the vampires to ensure their survival, so naturally, the vampire race would see that kingdom as their paradise, right? +

+ Luminous Valentine, the Vampire Progenitor, informed Rimuru that there is a supposedly-abandoned castle in the forest of a far away island. Despite her being the ruler of vampires, several of her progeny were independent from her rule, +
