I’m just finding this out now, although someone alluded to it yesterday I never found out whom they were referring to. I never knew him but really loved his takes from the moment I followed him. And as you said on another post…the Valentines. Such a loss.

I am a huge haunted Mansion fan and not a big Nightmare Before Christmas fan. I thought I’d be in the same boat. But I got the chance to ride it one year and absolutely loved it. Ended up going back at park close to ride it again! But not everything is for everybody and that’s good too!

We can argue about the misleading "abduction" in the headline since it is technically true...but I draw the line at "terrifies guests." There is no account from any guest that says they were terrified. They have completely made that up and assigned feelings to people and reported them as truth.

In a park as immaculately themed and mission-driven as Animal Kingdom, a tribute to roadside America – no matter the theme – just isn’t a fit. It felt cheap (but oh, the detail in the asphalt!) and it didn’t really advance much of its dinosaur theme or educate. It seemed more suited to the Studios.

Wow. What a roller coaster that was (to use an apt phrase). It wasn’t just any snake!!! It was a VERY common snake.

While this is one of their more accurate headlines, it still bothers me. Isn’t “families with children” a fairly large subset of Disney park goers? It makes it sound more menacing than “thieves are targeting strollers” or “park goers reporting increased theft”

One person! One person THINKS things look better. (And many commenters disagree!) What a world!

I’ve been drawn in by a few on my Google news feed in the past and they are never as bad as they seem. I generally like DFB content and they’ve had a couple of headlines that stretch things a bit, but man those ITM posts are almost evil.

Beyond the fact that I really appreciate what you do with this account, this is just a fascinating study in duplicitous click-bait headline writing.

A coworker and I were walking into a Starbucks when the door opened but no one came out. I assumed the door was being held open for us to go in so we did and ran into Rev. Al Sharpton whom the door was actually being opened for.

I remember my dad bringing home the VHS tapes from Five Mile Creek! The only thing I really remember is when they were trying to celebrate Christmas the English way in suits and with a giant Yule Log and everyone was sweating. I wonder if it’s any good now…
