It is nonsense. The same happened during the Flu pandemic. It is questionable if "intelligence" is assessed, or learning/concentration. This can be temperally altered due to a heavy disease such as an infection. But nothing more than that.

Thereafter it is important to know that metabolites are important in many pathways and processes. That some are also involved in other diseases does not mean that disease is present or there is a risk to that disease.

Many metabolites are involved in multiple pathways, and there is not much to conclude from them. Others are immune/inflammation related. Others show consequences of illness: reduced appetite and digestion.

Indeed, the authors found recently infected and hospitalised patients to have a different plasma content from not infected controls. They also found drug metabolites in the infection group, such as Tamoxifen, Olanzapine, and Ornidazole.

What would you expect? Lots of differences! After severe infection and recent duscharge there will be a lot of immune activity, much repair work and replenishing of depleted stocks of mediators. No infection control = no claims about SC2 specificity.

Non-infected controls (no infection controls) were vaccinated, ~200 days before sampling. No vaccine details about those infected, with several other differences, such as age, smoking, etc. The authors set themselves up for a fail. Yet, published in a metabolimics journal.

These are severe COVID-19 cases, and few subjects;: "Plasma samples from 29 hospitalized patients recovering from COVID-19 and 30 uninfected controls". In from December 2021 to January 2022. Important: timing. Very soon after hospital discharge.

Somewhat in 2020-2021, much less after 2022. But, PAIS, although rare, is possible after many an infection. The how remains a mystery.

Deze kunnen geen DNA aantonen in de aanwezigheid van zeer veel RNA.
Maar dit was echt lachen! Hij snapt echt helemaal niet wat Ct waarden zijn! Ct=de cycle waarbij het signaal over de vooraf gestelde drempelwaarde komt! Hij beschift de vermenigvuldiging! Vreselijk!

Hierna volgen de gebruikelijke leugens en onzin. Een gove leugen is dit. qPCR kan en detecteerd kleine stukjes DNA. Daarna wordt aangenomen dat dit stukje het hele plasmide voorsteld: de hoeveelheid wordt expres overschat!
Dan worden de foute methodes aangehaald.

Meer valse beweringen: cGAS-STING detecteerd alle DNA en RNA, van virussen, bacterieen, enz. Het wordt helemaal niet over-gestimuleerd. De cellen doen hun werk, breken het DNA en RNA af, en worden heel specifiek gedood.
