The military seems to be falling into these same footsteps. America was founded to get out from under a monarchy. Here we are being forced under a monarchy militarily against our will.

At the time the song was popular on the radio, a musical about Nosferatu with this kind of scene would have been seen as a copy of The Phantom of the Opera.

I can also understand why Jim Steinman flipped this song and likely many other songs from this then unrealized musical into pop ballads.

Ok, so the phrase, “Turn Around” makes a whole lot more sense in the context of this scene. He’s begging her to turn around and look at him. In the pop song, there’s no context.
