she/her ✨ sometimes I game ✨ sometimes I write ✨ always chronically ill and disabled ✨ this has unintentionally become a fan account for jemily because criminal minds is my special interest ☠️
All good vibes coming your way friend <3 we got this
12.11.2025 05:49 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If we as a country cared about disability and therefore healthcare and access, they would not be building AI centers in Black neighborhoods.
11.11.2025 05:20 — 👍 586 🔁 124 💬 1 📌 1We have older people in our family who struggle with this too. Even something like booking theatre tickets becomes a whole ordeal because they can’t just ring up and book them like they used to. Of course, we don’t mind helping, but it’s strips them of their independence
11.11.2025 11:32 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s difficult to underestimate the extra burden that this is placing on our public libraries. For example, on a daily basis library workers are now filling the in-person/human service gap that billion euro banking institutions have abdicated from to maximise their profit margins.
11.11.2025 08:40 — 👍 247 🔁 122 💬 13 📌 2Shout out to all my wonderful clients/students who completely understand when I’m sick cos I really cannot push through today
11.11.2025 11:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If you’re up for advice - try and do something each day that lets you feel a little less down even for a second. It helps me (cos friend I feel you) even something tiny like having your favourite drink
If you don’t want advice - all the love coming your way. I hope it trends back up soon <3
Accessibility options should also include *in game* key/bottom mapping/rendering. It infuriates me that The Sims 4 doesn’t allow you to change any of the buttons in game. It makes it hard to play with one hand or swap to controller/adapted controllers.
11.11.2025 11:24 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0- Accessibility options (that inclues adjustable difficulty imo)
- skippable cutscenes
- NO GEN-AI
There's probably more stuff worth mentioning, but those are my must have options!
Locking phones up in school - the time when children are already LEAST likely to be on them - will do NOTHING to stop bullying, poor mental health, isolation, or radicalisation!
It will also have ZERO impact on the rabid transphobia that’s perpetuated through the mainstream media & politics! 😖
As a writer married to an illustrator - they’re definately not one better than the other. The craft of both is challenging and rewarding. I completely agree that writing (wrongly) has a elitism element though and illustration is seen as silly little pictures. Society has royally messed it up
10.11.2025 11:28 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0me to my wife: I’m probably too sick to work today
also me: turns on computer because it’s only 4 hours just push through
I slept my back funny even though I woke up in a perfectly reasonable position.
Is this what I feels like to be nearly 30
Oh definitely not just your brain!! Although I did think it was just me so maybe it’s the two of us. But that’s still better than me just losing it myself x
10.11.2025 11:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0oh I do this all the time. Like replay it over and over in my head
10.11.2025 11:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Excuse me while I have a breakdown because I feel like a bad person when I know *logically* this is the only option to keep myself and my wife safe. Shout out to my sister and Ouma who have been legends and, although they still talk to them a little, have supported me anyway
10.11.2025 00:35 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don’t know if any of my moots (or anyone I’m desperate) have had to go no-contact with parents here (and I’m sorry if you have)
What the fuck did you do about the first Christmas? Did you tell them it isn’t happening? I live in another country so that’s good but I don’t want any presents help
No not at all! I just know that with such short form content it’s hard to get everything in, so sometimes it’s helpful to ask for more info. Thanks!
09.11.2025 13:48 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This makes much more sense thank you!
09.11.2025 03:32 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Riiiight yes I’m with you! Thanks so much for explaining!
09.11.2025 03:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh 100% I agree to believe them. I do think there are some criteria that those groups have but I wouldn’t say it’s hard and fast. I suppose my concern is people not actually knowing what autism is and then using it incorrectly and harmfully but that would happen regardless
09.11.2025 02:54 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Also acknowledging that a whole chunk of people can’t access diagnosis
09.11.2025 02:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Ohhhh yes okay. So to be autistic (culture) do you still have to have relevant traits? Of course, the paper may answer this and I’m gonna bookmark it too.
And sure if someone gets it wrong but if the support helps it was still worth the discovery sort of thing?
May I just clarify - surely you do need to meet criteria to be autistic? Otherwise there’s no point defining it. I agree that people can self diagnose/realise we have to have some sort of understanding of what autism is, broadly? (I’m genuinely asking, not trying to be rude)
09.11.2025 02:30 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0it also messes with my head that my physical disabilities are dynamic so my symptoms are wildly different but I’m autistic all the time so like… that’s constant? even if perhaps some days are better I’m still actually autistic but it’s wild to me that I can barely walk some days
09.11.2025 02:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0sometimes I forget I’m disabled then I have a day when I can barely walk to the bathroom and I’m like ah yes I remember now
09.11.2025 02:24 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0There is no such thing as ethical generated AI.
There is no such thing as AI 'art.'
AI generated media is theft.
Enthusiasm for AI is weird and stupid and yes you should feel bad if you've used it for anything.
Give up on it, move on and do something worth time and effort.
awwww what gorgeous babies! We’re definately keeping an eye out. We just have to move first or get permission from our landlord, but he’s threatening to put up rent by an extra £400-£600 a month (which we cannot afford). But we’re looking at moving then job no1 is adopt!!
08.11.2025 09:52 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh you’re such a sweetheart! Yes the photo is of Henry! We had 3 years with him <3
I would love a little orange!! Our friend has an orange cat and they’ve warned us it’s crazy but worth it. Of course another cat will never be him but I wouldn’t expect them to be. Just their silly little selves x
P.s. I’m 28
