Finally catching up on the last two episodes of Doctor Who and my niche observation is that it’s the first time I’ve seen Ineos Grenadiers used as military/police vehicles instead of Land Rovers.

Last night I dreamed I had to play bass for The Strokes wearing grey pinstripe flares, a white blouse and Kate’s straw hat. And with no rehearsal. Woke up just as I was about to go on stage. Watched a YouTube video of how to play the bass line to Last Night. Reckon I could’ve pulled it off.

Folklore, Facts and Fables 5: the Eve Stone is up for pre-order. The zine is a folk story from Todmorden about a petty thief called Rob o’Harry’o’t’Deans, who gets his comeupppance after blaming this crimes on others.
The music is sort of desert blues based around a 3 string fretless guitar thing…

I love these records that Mark makes with his primary school pupils up in the Calder Valley, experimental music, drones, unfiltered creativity without a waffling press release where a load of theory and buzzwords (or as my pal calls it, CV Inflation) acts as smoke screen for it not being very good
