More concept art, trying to get placeholders for characters for now.

Seeing how Venyr looks, testing expression changes. Probably tweak the art a bit later but good enough for now. Now to make placeholders for everyone else and get the story entered to see what else I need.

Tossed some of the intro into the engine. 99% base graphics still. Only changed Sheveio for now (somewhat obviously), to test bust size and emotion changes, see how it looks.

Some sprite work, sorry I've been so quiet. Decided to poke around in RPG Maker and I'm considering making this next story an rpg, instead.

I hired a ghost writer for my first scenes, so that's how that went.

"...Here... you do this, please.🙈"

(I did credit them, so not fully "ghost" but I digress haha.)

Timelines can definitely be intimidating, especially if a solodev /on a very small team. I wish you luck staying motivated, many of us struggle with the same.

Progress for more character concept art from sloppy idea-sketch to more formed. Still some planning and thinking to do on him/her but getting there. You can see the original is half mind-changed-scribbles, haha.

Slowly making some tilesets. At least enough for a demo level with everything I need. I'm thinking soft outlines for environment, harder for the characters to make them pop a bit. 🤔 We'll see how it looks once it's up and the character is moving around.

This made my day. This data shows that someone bought the Steam bundle for 4 of my games today but only got *1* game. That means they *already had* the others, and came back for my newest. I see you, beautiful stranger, and thank you for the encouragement and smile. 🥰
