I don't have an established pattern for this myself but hte first things that came to mind:

1.) `hit` sounds like i'm hitting something else, not getting hit. I'd maybe use `collide_with(other)`

2.) these are 2 separate things. you might get it and not take damage (if it is mitigated somehow)

I'd give some shading to the wings and some lines to define musculature in the arms and legs bit more
