While motion controls are the true way to play imo, the stick controls are perfectly fine.
The games aren't super excessive with the motion controls. They're usually for performing a few moves, recharging, minigames, etc. It's used sparingly but it does add to the experience.

I'm honestly surprised you haven't seen it yet.
Definitely check it out. It's one of my favorite pieces of media ever and it means a lot to me.

The only solace I can find with this is that it at least saves NOC from your typical awards season discourse.

I like to think I'm good at pacing and escalation. When I was looking through some old goofy fan comics I did when I was younger, despite all the cringe, I surprised myself by how well-paced it was.

I'm upset that No Other Choice hasn't won Best Foreign Film in either Critics' Choice or Golden Globes, but if anything, it just makes me really wanna see The Secret Agent.

Like I know people often say the human parts of these kaiji films are boring but for the most part I've been finding them fairly entertaining and relatively unintrusive. They also tend to at least have a likable cast.

Also, no Mothra, which is the films biggest flaw.

I do like that Godzilla and Rodan are buddies, though.

Invasion of Astro-Monster was alright, but it's definitely in the "Can we get to the kaijus already?" camp.

I'm also not really into that 50s-60s cheesy sci-fi aesthetic where it's guys in aluminum suits speaking in monotone. I'm sure some people get a kick out of that, but it does nothing for me.

This movie also has the most dedicated assassins of all time; they don't give a fuck about those giant monsters. They're carrying out this assassination plot, Godzilla and Ghidorah be damned!

I think I've reached the point where these are just children's films, and I'm okay with that.

Just finished King Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster.

These movies are so fucking cute. This shit is my MCU.

They also kept the part about there being "no large cities" yet there are several shots of tall buildings.

One of the big things that took me of the live-action L&S was the fact that the film still takes place on Kauai but is VERY OBVIOUSLY not filmed here.
It doesn't even try to disguise it. You straight-up see Diamond Head in one shot.
