Too many good games coming out. I haven't even started Silksong yet because I haven't even beaten Hollow Knight, and right now I have Silent Hill f and Hades 2 waiting for me, AND I have schoolwork so there's barely any free time for me to do anything.

Been really looking forward to this because I wanna play as cool Meiko Kaji-like samurai lady but as someone who enjoyed Tsushima but found the story mid as fuck, I'm excited to hear that the story's actually good this time.

So I generally enjoy attending college this late in life, but one thing that absolutely sucks about going to college NOW is that I'm now being forced to learn AI.

It wasn't playing at my theater, unfortunately.

And I know this is a purely online phenomenon because irl teens are the exact opposite.

I've noticed for a while this issue online of teens infantilizing themselves. There's a ton of 16–17-year-olds on twitter who pretend as if they're elementary-aged children who can't handle anything slightly inappropriate. Like, at that age you can already take early college courses.

Post a movie you like with a terrible rotten tomatoes score

Probably the most baffling one to me. I have no idea what the hell critics were smoking at the time, but they must've just saw "Asian revenge movie" and thought it was gonna be some Kill Bill shit or something.

Thank god, WB's release was barebones. An Evil Dead release without special features should be a crime.

It's also like, what do these people think kids watch? Do they think 8-year-olds are watching Cocomelon? Or that 10-year-olds can't handle anything more intense than Peppa Pig?

An animation project I made for Video Production last semester. We had to make a 30-second CM or trailer with at least one live-action shot and one animated/SFX shot.
This was a horror-comedy loosely inspired by my experience taking the public bus home. I wanted to play around with mixed media.

I'd also love to see other Hawaiians' opinions as well. I feel like we're underrepresented online (or at least in the circles I'm in) and most of the discourse I've seen surrounding this film are coming from people who don't know shit about Hawaii.

I mean, as a Hawaiian, I didn't really get that impression. I think people are just overthinking a kid's movie.

It's no wonder I thought they changed the location after watching the trailer. I almost wish it did take place on Oahu because at least I'd be less distracted by every exterior shot.

Like, they straight-up showed DIAMOND HEAD! They full-on showed us cities and still had Lilo say "It's nice to live on an island with no large cities." like ????????

So it turns out it DOES take place on Kauai.
The only problem is that was NOT Kauai.

They really thought we wouldn't noticed, as if Lilo & Stitch isn't hugely popular here.

Watched the new Lilo & Stitch.

Just beaten Expedition 33. Incredible game. Did a quick Maelle doodle.
Might draw more at a later point.

I've also been thinking of maybe doing commissions / requests, but I still feel pretty insecure about my art skills and don't quite know how it works. The whole process makes me nervous, especially when money's involved. Right now I wanna draw for fun and relieve some stress.

Been contemplating on doing more drawings like this of whatever movie / show/ game is on my mind currently, just so I can keep my skills up. A lot of it's probably gonna be random stuff no one cares about.
