I’m sorry that no one told you how much it hurts to care.

I know sometimes it doesn’t seem worth it.

I know sometimes it makes you feel hopeless.

But keep caring. It will always make a difference. It will always mean something.

I’m mad and I think that should be okay.

I’m mad because:
I can’t go back home.
People care more about money than what is right.

I’m mad because no matter how gentle and kind I am, anger still exists within my fragile heart.

I am not strong. I am tired. I am angry. I am scared. But I persist.

I fear I am not going to be able to shut up about The Favors debut album for years.

They asked you for everything and gave you nothing. That’s not love babes, that’s the US government.

And yes I am pro-bellykissthatfrenchguy because she needs to see that these boys aren’t a destiny, she can have other loves or likes or flings. She shouldn’t be with Conrad because she has to she should be with him because she wants to.

And that’s why if she chooses to be with Conrad it will be 1000% more satisfying, because she doesn’t need him to fix her or to see her as someone who can do no wrong. She can want him and she can know she is worthy of love without having to be perfect.

✨Both Jere and Conrad have put Belly on a pedestal and Conrad has spent a majority of his like trying to protect her. Having someone tell her basically you are allowed to make mistakes and you’re a badass for protecting yourself shows her that she doesn’t need either man.

✨We see that Belly doesn’t just care about the small group of people around her but she just cares in general. She helps that girl and didn’t expect her to get her into the party. She did it because it was the right thing to do.

Here is why the last episode was important:
✨After not begging Jere to stay, she didn’t call Conrad’s name at the airport. She heard Taylor when she said Belly doesn’t know who she is and we see that again during the conversation with Jere.

The same people who complain about her being a boring protag (which I could do a whole rant about too) are the same people who complain when she has a plot line that isn’t dependent on one of the brothers. Y’all plz.

I am really tired of everyone saying the last episode was filler and bad. It was the first time in the WHOLE series that we’ve seen Belly be her own person unconnected to a boy. She stood up for herself both to that thief and to Jere for the first time.

I know if I rant about this anywhere else I’ll get the worst of the internet so Bluesky gets my hot takes on TSITP (a thread)

I miss who I was when I was sat in the hills of Hollywood. Unafraid of becoming unstable. So ready to create and love and be heard. I miss them.

Peace and love I know the sun is sick and all but if this London heatwave doesn’t end soon I’m going to vomit.

You know what makes me feel really good about the content I make? Mutuals. Two creators who look at eachother’s work and goes hell yeah I wanna support that. It makes my heart so full.

I love ttrpgs because they taught me to say what I can and can’t handle, to be open about what kind of table I run, and to be unafraid of looking silly.
