I’m just amazed that SC is going to be one of the most impacted states and it’s not very much a part of our state level political discourse.

Last time I was in Charleston, I was amazed at the mansions still being built in barrier islands.

They approve new ones every day. All eight coastal counties. Some are better than others about rejecting the more ridiculous ones but none are as good as we all need them to be.

The actions of few put many at risk.
It is zany to me when people use their “belief” in climate change to justify their inaction. Like, I don’t *believe* I’m going to get in a car wreck today but I’m still going to drive defensively because other drivers with other plans don’t care what I believe.

To her, being a strikebreaker is a feature, not a bug. She loves making sure Americans stay corporate slaves. Boeing gave her a seat on the board for her union-busting efforts here but she quit a year later when they got bailouts (despite giving them $1B in SC tax dollars a few years before!)
