The one positive from the past two weeks is that also the establishment "moderates" are being exposed, revealed, and rejected by the majority.

Feels like a situation where -- and look, I'm just spitballing here -- the media could take some reporters and cameras to various parts of Portland and report what they see rather than just do stenography for someone with a long history trying to game the system with lies and exaggeration.

Ya'll. A ruling from the bench like this is uncommon. But Trump is going fast, so the courts will go fast in response.

Abbott egged on the Jade Helm conspiracists, who claimed that a military training operation was actually Obama invading the state of Texas.

Now a U.S. president is deploying Texas troops to other states to dominate and intimidate those states, and Abbott is complicit.

Important to keep in mind that while the Republican-state governors sending their National Guard into Democratic states definitely think of this as conquering US, a victory for the Confederacy, those National Guard are probably pissed they are being sent away from jobs/family for this absurd mission

We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion. It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will now involve sending in another state’s military troops.
