Yeah, they can get away with USB for Bluetooth, but WiFi at least needs 1x, so they skimped to keep costs down (Or because the Atom only has so many lanes available)

Was the M.2 slot limited to just one PCIe lane? I've got an M.2 breakout in my Framework 16 that goes to an external GPU with 4 lanes.

My desktop also has a relocated slot, I snuck a USB card around the GPU by cutting out part of it's fan shoud. photos.app.goo.gl/ebG5j54nYay1...

I tried way back, and found a tutorial that was only 1/2 complete, and didn't know where to go from where. As far as how hard to make, once you've got all the blocks defined (I was going to re-use leaves, and trunk) it's just a matter of setting some of those leaves to emit light I think.

Oh, cool, you changing it any or fixing it? I've wanted to build "torch trees" which are trees you can plant around where you live that grow torches so your area can be lit up without all the annoying torches all over. Never got around to finishing the mod.

I just received word that he had passed away.

I don't know much as yet save that it was apparently natural causes.

I wanted to make sure that his family knew before I made a public post about it. I'll post more info as I find out.

I had to look up how much power HDMI can deliver, max I found was 5V @ 300mA or about 1.5W ... it's going to take a LONG time to heat up, and must be a very insulated bowl if it's going to even hope to heat up.

I'm in a similar setup, I want to re-route all my HDMI cables directly to the 16x16 matrix, but everything fits just so and would be a huge pain. So I haven't yet. I did route port 16 out to an HDMI optical audio extractor for sound, and that was a huge chore.

It's reminding people of the old magic, that enjoy remembering.

They make nice 3D Bluray players.

Agreed, while there are some who do a great job, there are others that just fester. All of them should have limits so that new blood, and fresh ideas (plus people who might understand new technology) can get in and start working on making things better.
