Absolutely….though in effect as it is a deep humming, it’s not painful. Still mandatory ear protection.
I don’t go much to amplified concerts as I dislike the loudness and distorted PA sound. 130db of a singer with drums, no ! 130 db of single chord on a baritone guitar, oh yes !!

If you have the chance you should try to experience it. That you like the music or not, try it. This is for reaching spheres of perception that go well beyond the musician’s looks, personas and musical heritage. Pure timbre passed onto you as touch.

I know the average person doesn't use or care about VR. But I believe the advent of spatial computing is the most substantial development in artistic expression since the arrival of motion pictures - and, before then, since the invention of perspective in paintings.

Good to read the sensation is shared...! Then I'll continue "floating" through it and for sure its stories should reveal themselves a bit more through each listen !

Ah! Oh you know this is one those instances where I wish English was my mother tongue….so hard for me to follow the text and its meaning, yet always struck by the beauty of her performance.

So i'm finally playing through the VR Medal of Honor, and while fun, some of the dialogue scenes seem to draaaag. Unlike a cut scene, I am "physically" stuck into the ground having to hear ppl talk. BUT, in Half Life Alyx, the Vortigaunt monologues are a delight... 🧵
