No matter what you look like, where you come from, or who you pray to, Minnesotans protect our neighbors.
When our communities are threatened, we show up for each other. Thatβs who we are.
What we are facing in Minnesota isnβt isolated.
Pressuring states for voter data, intimidating communities through ICE activity, and eroding trust in elections are all part of the same playbook: suppress participation and silence dissent.
We see it. We name it. And weβre organizing to stop it.
Minnesotaβs voter data is protected for a reason.
Itβs kept at the state level to ensure privacy, security, and accountability, not to be used as leverage by federal officials or bargaining chips in political power plays.
Hereβs why our data SHOULD NOT be used as a bargaining chip:
No Homan press conference changes the reality for Minnesotans living in fear and organizing to protect their communitiesβ2,000 or 2,700 agents makes no real difference.
In a democracy, we honor the will of the people. Minnesotans want ICE out of Minnesota.
ICE violence and voter suppression are two sides of the same abuse of power.
When federal officials exploit fear and bloodshed to demand access to our voter rolls, theyβre telling us exactly who this system is built to serveβand who itβs meant to silence.
Defending democracy isnβt just about protecting what we have β itβs about building something stronger and more inclusive.
In 2026, the work gets bigger. And it starts with neighbors stepping up. This is your moment. bit.ly/WeChooseUs
A new year means new chances to show up for one another.
In 2026 and beyond, weβll keep choosing community over division and people over power.
Happy New Year, Minnesota. We choose us.
Across the country, democracy is being tested by misinformation, unfair maps, and political intimidation. The goal is simple: divide communities and protect power for the few.
In Minnesota, weβre pushing back by choosing each other and building a democracy rooted in trust.
If you want to join our work to protect democracy, nowβs the time. Help protect our safe and secure elections and build an inclusive, multiracial Minnesota where people β not corporations or the wealthy few β decide our future. bit.ly/WeChooseUs

The wealthy few are capturing our democracy and drowning out our voices.
We know a better path: a Minnesota where people, not corporations, shape our future.
When the DOJ tried to force Minnesota to turn over private voter data, SOS Steve Simon pushed back. Because in a healthy democracy, your personal information shouldnβt be weaponized or used to intimidate voters.
Protecting voter data is protecting your voice.
While corporations get tax break after tax break from the White House, Minnesotans fight every day for a say.

Engaging with our democracy at every level isnβt just a civic duty, itβs how we protect our present and shape a better future for everyone.
When neighbors organize, advocate, and collaborate with decision-makers, we make our communities more fair, representative, and resilient.
After 50 days of political games, Rep. Adelita Grijalva has finally been sworn in. Her district went without representationβand democracy suffers when voters are left waiting. These moments remind us that democracy doesnβt just end on Election Day.
13.11.2025 21:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Rep. Grijalva is a story that hits close to home in Minnesota. We watched something similar unfold when Rep. Brad Tabke was kept from being sworn in for months. In both cases, voters did their partβbut political games kept them from having full representation. youtu.be/1EhEeqOu8Ts?...

Refusing to seat Rep. Grijalva mirrors tactics used to undermine Rep. Tabkeβs win here at home. The message is the same: if they donβt like the result, they try to erase it.
