Media challenge: Stop using the word "immigration" in phrases about abduction, assault, murder, and so on. Immigration means the movement of people into a country for purposes of residency. What's being "enforced" here is terror & crimes against humanity.

He is making it clear that everyone should have the freedom to support their families and get the care and education they need — no exceptions.

ICE observer trainings expand to Greater Minnesota The Immigrant Defense Network is holding constitutional observer training in 30 cities across the Midwest, activating more residents to document federal immigration activity.

At a time when the regime in power is actively erasing the truth of the Black American experience from our parks, museums, and libraries, it’s on us to take the baton from our ancestors and add winning reparations to the beautiful tapestry of Black history within our lifetimes.

Black History is a responsibility.

The failure to fully reckon with the legacies of enslavement have led to MAGA & persistent racial inequality today.

Our abolitionist & civil rights ancestors made history fighting for equality and winning freedom for past generations, but their work is not over.

Black History is a blueprint.

When abolitionists ended many forms of enslavement, they won amendments like birthright citizenship that formed the foundation for equality in our country.

Meanwhile, the Nazis specifically modeled laws to discriminate against Jews after the Jim Crow legal system.

'Sinners' makes history, setting Oscars nomination record Ryan Coogler’s blues-steeped vampire epic “Sinners” led all films with 16 nominations to the 98th Academy Awards, setting a record for the most in Oscar history.

Black History is being made every day.

Just last week, Sinners, an unapologetically Black movie that shines a light on both the horrors of Jim Crow and Black joy in the face of oppression made history by becoming the most Oscar nominated movie of all time.

You can’t teach our full history without Black History

The history of Black Americans reveals both the triumphs of our ancestors AND the historic harms our country has yet to fully reckon with and the triumphs of our ancestors.

The MAGA regime wants to whitewash all of it to control our future.

This interview by @ocasio-cortez.house.gov is a good example of how we should be talking about the MAGA murder regime's efforts to spread hate and division.

They are invading our communities while they hand everything we’ve created to care for each other to their billionaire backers.

It is Brave of US to move heaven and earth for our families and braver still to train others to be similarly brave in standing up for our neighbors across races, origins and faiths.

Communities are protecting each other while Congress funds the agency terrorizing them. ICE raids restaurants. Neighbors show up. Meanwhile healthcare is cut, clinics close, and people suffer. One side chooses fear. The other chooses care. #FundHealthcareOverICE

Right now, the MAGA regime hopes to turn us against each other based on our race or background, while they steal everything that we've created to care for each other.

But the #BraveofUS will always choose love and support for our neighbors over their hate.

Every day, the MAGA regime is taking away our freedom to care for our families & have them come home safely.

No funding for fascism. No dollars for dictatorship. No bankrolling billionaires.

Many Dems wrongly read 2024 election as lesson to back away from immigrants, human rights, confronting authoritarianism (see, for example, Laken Riley, green lighting cabinet, etc.) Truly hope they read in our resistance that it's backbone we're seeking.

People, armed only with whistle & conscience, are putting our bodies where our beliefs are not because someone told us about egg prices (we shop, we know) but because of moral imperative to stop evil.
