This feels like the Mondayest Tuesday so far. When a holiday shortens the week, I usually feel like the remaining days get packed with everything that didn’t happen on Monday. I'm working on shifting that mindset: trying to see holidays as true rest days instead of feeling like I'm already behind.

Thinking of my dad’s side of the family this Labor Day: Mexican Americans who worked tough jobs in fields and factories. Their sacrifices built the foundation I stand on today. Grateful for them and all who labored for the next generation.
