"Arc de Triomphe Avec du Jaune" by Susan Maxwell Schmidt A cityscape photograph I took on film in Paris in 1992 of the beautiful Arc de Triomphe, that I have desaturated to black and white with tones of beige and warm grays, save for one little French car in bright yellow selective color. The historic war memorial is a breathtaking example of Roman architecture, sits on the Place Charles de Gaulle at the western end of the renowned Champs Élysées and is easily one of the most stunning monuments I have ever been inside, the sculpture is just divine. If you ever have the opportunity to see it do keep in mind that there's a tunnel to access the arch, which we didn't know, and don't attempt to cross that phenomenally treacherous traffic circle like we did and just barely survived.
