And your proud ignorance, of course. Ignorance of the solution I've been advocating for six years. You've been bested by an "old fud".

Given that part of the product of their labour is siphoned off as profit, workers are always subsidising businesses. Effectively, workers must bid for jobs. The jobs go to those who offer the largest subsidy. It's a regulated market. But lightly rather than tightly.
