Literally all the time. 😅
Sketches are useful for feeling out the general feel and vibe of the piece, but I find that if I try to follow the original lines 1:1, it ends up looking super stiff and not as nice.

I like to treat the original sketches as something of a draft or overall outline I guess.

I’m really looking forward to Anthrohio in just a few months. ^^

I think it’s possibly a case of kinda feeling out your audience as they arrive. Is this person a bit chattier? Maybe a little quieter? And then basing your continued interaction off of that. But hey, who knows. 😅

Honestly, perhaps it was great luck for you that he specifically said the real reason out loud; Sounds like you’ve got a solid basis for a formal complaint to the government on him about this, as well as basis for a lawyer to send him some perfume-scented “love letters.” 😇

Perhaps he needs to be acquainted with the Federal Fair Housing Act, which specifically “prohibits discrimination in housing because of:

Color
National Origin
Religion
Sex
Familial Status
Disability “

I mean, how small of an ego must you have, how unwittingly miserable must your life be, how absolutely devoid of personality must you be inside, to wrap your whole personality around “digital artist,” knowing that it’s all a lie, and your role was little more than a guy at a takeout window?

This kind of reminds me of OG RuneScape. I’d grind and save and everything just to get high skill levels to unlock stuff, only to later learn that a crazy amount of players were just botting to get high stats. Like bro, why even? The whole fun of the game is to unlock stuff, not just to flex.

I’ve sadly been seeing a rise in things on my #furry #art feeds that are very, very obviously AI shaped. Let’s not. Let’s really, really not, guys.

TWF you get struck with inspiration and drive and work on an #art piece all day, but then realize after completion that your canvas size is totally different from your usual because you weren’t using your usual iPad… Oh well. 😝 I’m still proud of it and excited to share!
