I present 7/10 of the first wave of Care Bear characters. From the original crew that started it all, here's GRUMPY BEAR! I think we can all universally agree Grumpy Bear is the most beloved/relatable one out of the group; he's loved by all, and I bet you he knows it, but he'll never admit he's the popular one. Learning from what I did when I created the prototype picture, I used the same color palette and changed a little bit of his tummy badge for my official take on the character. Originally I wanted him to have a bowl-cut-style hair because I have always felt that he was the "Moe Howard" of the group. I tried five different styles, and they all didn't look quite right, so I went on a big search for what I could use as a reference for his hair, and once again, I took inspiration from 2007's "Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot" (shocker, I know), but instead of making it round, I went with making it pointy and curved. Know this, folks: he will show you his smile behind that frown of his...you just need to see it ;) I want people to see that I have high respect for this IP and give it great quality fan art.
