A purple and blue sky between building with the branches of a tree in silhouette. The sliver of a crescent moon just to the left of the tree and the right of a building.
Rejoice! It might only be minutes, but the sunset is now moving to later times.

The greatest opening lyrics of any song (to me!) in our common era (again, a very subjective preface "to me!") is "too many birds in one tree".

A cluster of prickly pear green cactus pads and their purple fruit. One pad has the shape of Texas crudely carved out of its center.
I spent some time before the storms biking on the Missions path to destress. I spotted some very ripe looking Prickly Pears. Unfortunately foraging on public trails is not allowed in Texas. Neither is vandalism, but someone -- not me -- got away with some creative vandalism.

Annular eclipse views: six images of the eclipses sun progressing from partial to complete ring.
The morning clouds broke up and moved south just in time for the annular eclipse from San Antonio, TX.
A nearby viewer started playing Total Eclipse of My Heart from their car. Only in SATX!
