The layout links sadness with harming the police's reputation in a very unsubtle way. Enough that after walking by this in the grocery store we looked up this frontpage to make this post. This is an obvious editorial decision. The media is JUST as complicit in this as the fascists themselves. Many of the major outlets are directly owned by billionaire fascists themselves.

We have had one set of ultrasounds and the tech didn't even bother to examine what we asked for despite us pointing directly at our uterus.

The results: "normal for AGAB".

But the file header said female, our chart reads male despite our empty scrotum and 2" phallus, so, who knows what that means?

You would think, if you've ever watched a hospital drama, being basically a medical oddity would have doctors almost salivating to examine you, because "wow that's so cool!"

We've been waiting almost 6 months for a specialist to see us in one of the largest cities in the world.

The first goal of any advanced society should be to provide baseline needs for all of its citizens at a bare minimum.
Those needs would be:

Equal human rights for ALL humans.
Safety
Housing
Food
Healthcare (body and mind)
Connectivity
Community

And to do so peacefully with other regions/groups.

Any society that can't do that is not an advanced society, and barely a civilized one.

for a long time, I thought the Democrats were fighting valiantly but just overwhelmed by the oligarchy and the Republicans. Then I saw that the Democrats keep losing fights they should win and figured they must be just weak and ineffectual. Then I kept seeing them backing off without putting up any fight at all and decided they were gutless cowards. Finally, I noticed that enough of them keep voting with the Republicans to always ensure that the Republicans more or less win almost every fight, and that they start by bargaining from the Center position and moving Right-and eventually, after enough of that, it became impossible to ignore the only conclusion that actually fits the facts: The Democrats are not overmatched, they aren't weak, they aren't cowards... they're complicit.

It’s the oligarchy vs. the rest of us. That’s the actual “us and them”.
