1. Dems have lost *at least* some interest in and focus on labor and the working class.
2. A lot of meaningful things they would do or have tried to do to help have been by Republicans because they would marginally hurt their rich friends.

At the end of the day, you still have to explain why some of America’s most industrial unions didn’t endorse Dems in 2024, or couldn’t because their membership was so pro-Trump. Be honest.
