While an interesting discussion on the meaning +use of moral clarity, particularly the back +forth between Klein +Coates, it seems relevant that morality by definition speaks to good +bad of a person, or “right +wrong conduct”. Inherently, the essence of morality is compassion for oneself +others.

NOW WHAT? Part II - Real Talk for Voters, Advocates, & Dem Leaders in Congress

Another strong piece that speaks to the momentum of Tuesday’s election, that the “2026 election cycle will be here before we know it,” the need for “unity, clarity, and strategy” and that recognizes, “Failure is not an option.”

We need to watch these media conglomerates—this not only impacts the consumer cost but likely also messaging, news, and overall programming. Agree with my Senator “reeks of corruption” and quite frightening.

Why many Republicans have such hate within them reveals their layers of delusion. It is tragic for the nation and the world, and sad for them as individuals.

For those of us who have protested, written letters +called members of congress, engaged in local politics, +who frequently ask ourselves a similar question,”What can I, as a citizen, do to counter this descent into authoritarianism?” this Bulwark piece by Mona Charen is a must read for next steps.

It is appalling that 8 senators (Blackburn, Graham,Johnson,Hawley, Hagerty,Lummis,Sullivan +Turberville) snuck in the big ugly bill prior to sending it to the House, a million dollar payout for being investigated for their potential involvement in the 1/6 insurrection. This is a disgrace.

Hearing today AOC use facts that humiliated HHS Sec. Kennedy, it is ever more clear that we have a sick, lying bully as president, those ignorant of the departments they lead in the cabinet, +cowards leading+constituting the Republican congress. We must keep the momentum of the 11/4 results!

Pardon the Corruption Trump’s blanket pardons for stop-the-steal illegality aren’t only about settling scores from past elections. They’re about laying the groundwork to subvert future ones.

"But the true message—the prospective message—is that pardons will be available to everyone who joins him in election subversion in 2026 and 2028. This wave of preemptive pardons is a permission slip, an encouragement for election subversion in the future."

Dems Reward the Hostage-Taker Perhaps ending the shutdown was the responsible thing to do. But by caving, Democrats risk legitimizing Trump’s maximum-pain shutdown tactics.

A huge mistake on the part of the democrats in congress to cave at this time. As Andrew Eggers writes, “There’s a reason you’re not supposed to negotiate with terrorists.”

Yes, we need to think about this.
I guess, we can say this for every utterance and every act that comes from Trump White House

November 6, 2025 “None of this is complicated,” political data specialist Tom Bonier wrote yesterday about Tuesday’s dramatic Democratic victories around the country.

“He demanded that Republican senators end the filibuster +, as soon as they do, promptly end mail-in voting +require prohibitive voter ID. “If we do what I’m saying,” …Democrats will “most likely never obtain power because we will have passed every single thing that you can imagine.” #nokings
