😂 Good product design should include usability testing (ideally). Another possibility is that the manufacturer decided to use an alternative/cheaper/more environmentally friendly material to the one specified in the design. I'd be sending it back 👎

I did those as a kid many many moons ago. It was hard work and usually required the assistance of a parent.

I sang to my children when I was pregnant and continued to sing to them as babies and beyond. I sang my grandchildren to sleep when they were tiny and we are always singing when we are together. It's a precious thing to do, which (imo) creates an everlasting bond.

I'm ripping up carpet and laying laminate in 3 rooms + hall. Not straightforward as many awkward bits. OH wanted to get pros in, but I've laid laminate before, am v capable & enjoy a challenge. He makes me cups of tea and has done one tip run. I think he'd be more visible if pros were here tho 🤣

Came home yesterday to see neighbours from two doors down shoving Reform leaflets through letterboxes. They live among us! I feel quite sick, although I shouldn't be surprised living in a 'shire. I expect I'm in a minority tbh
