I listened to everything in that top row once this week except Dev Lemons. Been using streaming less and less ever since adding CDs back to my rotation. We've been playing rock band 3 and also ive been getting back on my one new album a day thing. Day 3 so far. Listened to new Wisp and it was good. Also been listening to a Glixen CD a lot which is a similar vibe. Day 2 listened to old Ethel Cain to prepare for new Ethel Cain but I gotta wait till I have 73 minutes Day 3 Tiny Voices my friend from back home recommended to me

This one is the weekly. REALLY love Pacing 2. The entire record feels like every day life encapsulated. So dry and yet so repeatable. I wrote a longish essay on this album over the weekend it came out just from listening so much. Saving it for the new site though. Literally listening to Star 99 *because* of Pacing. Chase Petra b-side out so busted out the album *on streaming* more than usual. Looked forward to new Pretty Bitter but haven't gotten to listen as much as id like. My brother asked me to listen to that Arsis album to help him write lyrics but told me "people dont likentheir singer for being disrespectful." Which obviously raised some red flags but I can't seem to find that much?

This is monthly. I really hyperfixated on Scowl all month it was honestly a great time. Thats another essay on the future site.

My weekly 5x5. The new Wet Leg album is pretty good, pretty improved upon version of the band from the self-titled. They kinda dropped the sarcasm for more tender intimate language and it makes for a much different experience in spite of it not being far away sonically. I keep meaning to make a mid year list but sds/t would for sure be on it. My partner started listening to Kim Dracula who i used to really not like until she compared them to 100 gets and yea maybe a 1 was steep of me on that wrote up haha. Cybergrind. I gotta finish that Coheed write up.

The problem with bubblegrunge is it gets attached to everything with pitchfork/rym types but if you ask they dont answer and its always seemingly "woman in band :/ (negative)"
