The boss of one of the major betting companies pays more income tax than anyone else in the UK in 2023. The vast majority of that comes from punters' losing bets. If that doesn't give you pause for thought about gambling, nothing will.

As voters tell Starmer to Move closer to Europe – not Trump, the Government needs to acknowledge that when the facts change so monumentally the Government needs to be agile, pragmatic and respond to the new reality. Tinkering at the edges trying to make Brexit work is deluded!
