How are instruments being more expensive and practice spaces being hard to come by not specific to rock music, when what took its place was HipHop and Electronic music, mostly being made by one guy on a laptop?

I suppose, but I do think that GH played a much smaller role in the decline of rock compared to
1: The death of cheap second hand instruments thanks to the internet
2: The lack of easy practice spaces due to people not being able to afford houses
3: As stated above, labels not wanting to pay a band

No see I think you misunderstand, the kids who grew up with it at a very young age are just now becoming adults and starting bands. The main reason that rock stopped being as popular is because Bands as a concept were being devalued, it’s seen as too expensive compared to a solo act when touring.

This is less the fault of Epic and more of music licensing, as much as I love blaming Epic for stuff this isn’t really their fault.

Go check out YARG instead, it’s more closely based on Rock Band and supports full band with vocals and keys.

If you want a more Rock Band-y experience, try YARG instead! It has full band gameplay, greater support for song file formats, more flexible settings, and support for real time venues like in the official Rock Band games!

I didn’t mean really mean Overcharts:tm:, I was meaning that since the expectation of someone downloading customs is that they’re more experienced, they’re more likely to have mechanics that casuals who’s only experience with the series is GHArcade aren’t familiar with like Opens or Taps.

I may be too RB3DX brained but I don't really see the issue with this? The majority of songs people would be interested in playing were already officially added. Additionally many customs are at least slightly overcharted, so I get not wanting to use those for a more casual audience.
