This is a document titled "Estimates of station usage April 2024 to March 2025" from the Office of Rail and Road (ORR), dated 4 December 2025. It summarises the annual statistical release, noting 1.73 billion passenger rail journeys were made. Table 1.1 lists the top five most used stations by entries and exits: London Liverpool Street (98.0 million), London Waterloo, London Paddington, Tottenham Court Road, and London Bridge. The least used stations mentioned are Elton and Orston in Nottinghamshire (68 entries and exits).

We're really pleased that, at long last, contactless payments are being rolled out at more stations - including Stansted Airport where we know passengers were receiving fines.
