You certainly haven't heard from me on bsky... I still don't have a habit of checking it, regularly. Probably never will. But I largely agree wrt social media. It just doesn't work for people trying to escape the manufactured outrage cycle. Farewell.

I understand what you mean. But it doesn't work for me as easily.

As an ADHDer, and an introvert, I find it mentally... I don't know... Punishing?... Might not be the right word... To keep up with multiple disparate groups and to have to remember to reach out on 4 or more different platforms. And then there's the aspects of privacy of conversations. I don't know.

Many of my close friends, in some cases the only family I have left in this world, are leaving Facebook. And I get it. I really do. But with no real replacement on the horizon, I know we're going to fall out of touch. And I'm a little sad at a darker and lonelier future.

OK. It sounds like there are some valid reasons for outrage. That isn't among them. And being mad at the wrong things is definitely a common affliction. Liberals are not immune.

What nonsense is this? I hadn't heard it, yet.

It's all political theatre. "Hey everybody! Watch what my left hand is doing! Pay no mind to the other hand!"

What are you exploring for a replacement, if you don't mind my asking?
