I know.I worked on the Hill and have been working on federal policy for 25 years.It still just astounds me.Harris put it well when she said what’s shocking is the wholesale capitulation by the GOP. It is hard to accept that there isn’t a majority who would feel compelled to do the right thing.

He needs to be stopped. This is a five alarm crisis. It baffles me how the GOP leaders in Congress who can stop it are so void of understanding the short and long term consequences of their depraved actions and legislation knowingly ignoring Americans’ needs and the principles of our democracy.

No, the key factor is the wholesale capitulation by the majority party that controls both Houses of Congress and the USSC. There is a strong opposition party and any weakness in its leaders may be a factor, but definitely not the key factor. Stop blaming the Democrats.
