Ooh, thanks! I've only played the first Panzer Dragoon (Remake on Switch) and the setting felt unique and interesting.

Taking recommendations for shorter RPG's with following criteria:
- Less than 20 hours
- 10 hours or shorter would be ideal
- Prefer retro games
- Prefer turn based over action

we need to reach some sort of equilibrium with budgets and release schedules where studios can weather flops. we can't live in this "either smash hit or the whole studio goes bust" world, we will never get interesting games ever again. taking risks on weird shit is how we end up with anything good

The game is very, very ambitious and it is “remake” of the original game that was ZDoom mod, which is super hella cool! I’ll be trying the Doom mod later and see how it compares. But I can tell that game was made with love and passion, so that is why it feels bit wrong to be this critical.

Most of the levels were hard to navigate but the intended path was well told via other ways like lightning and item placement I’ll give that. Combat was utterly boring. Plot was basic, boring and extremely predictable. But the overall consensus seems to be mostly positive, so I’m happy to be outlier

Finished Total Chaos last night, and sadly it was one of the worst games I’ve played. Why I didn’t like it? First of all it was absolutely way too long. It was 7 hours too long, horror part mediocre at best with some highlight here and there. The inventory and weight system didn’t fit to this game

icesitruuna released new demo resently for their upcoming Parasite Eve style game aptly named, Parasite Mutant. Finished the demo and it was genuine pleasure to play through. I highly recommend everyone to play the demo and wishlist the game.

I can finally crawl in dungeons. Made dungeon crawler prototype and the movement works as intended now, started the combat system but didn't have time to make anything happen on screen, only on debug logs :(

Had improptu idea go to lean-to (in Finnish it is called Laavu, the fuck is lean-to???) and three of me friends answered the call. Had fun times, it was only about -14c and the weather was brisk.

I was able to gather three of my friends to watch whole Neil Breen production in two days. On first day we watched first three and on the second day, last three. After binging these movies, it made appreciate the avant-garde style of Neil Breen.
