Panel 2 Gwen just now realizes that there is a concerning amount of smoke in the air. Admittedly, any amount of smoke in the air when you're inside is probably a reason for concern but this amount is especially concerning. Gwen: Is something burning? Olivia: YES! Come to the kitchen. Olivia is also concerned about what's going on in the kitchen. She's also amused at the idea of someone else seeing what her big sister is up to. Panel 3 Gwen has entered the kitchen where there is smoke leaving a pot on the stove. Polly is sitting on the floor and looking distressed. There is pasta scattered around and a mysterious red substance splattered against the walls, counter, and ground. There is a bottle labelled "Red Flavor Sauce". Mistakes have been made. Gwen tries not to judge. Gwen: Hey, Polly. What's cooking? Polly: Pasta. Panel 4 Gwen notices that there does not seem to be any water in the pot. This might explain the abundance of smoke coming out of it. a small flame is starting rise out of the top of the pot. Gwen tries even harder not to judge. Gwen: Uh... You know that you're supposed to add it to boiling water. Polly: I do now.

Polly and Olivia Make Dinner (Part 2) - Gator Days

Panel 1 Nate, Iris, and August are on their lunch break and discussing weekend plans. It's very important to mention that Nate is enjoying a grilled cheese sandwich that has grown cold. Iris has a questionable substance for her own lunch. She is filled with regrets at the moment. Nate: Y'all got weekend plans? I'm going to a concert. Iris: Wine tasting and a dinner party. Panel 2 August is smiling because he knows he has both the superior lunch and plans. He's eating a pepperoni pizza that's dripping with cheese. Truthfully, it's not the best pizza out there but pizza is still pizza and beats out many other lunches by default. Yes, I have put far too much thought into what everyone is having for lunch. August: I'll be playing video games and watching cartoons with my son. Panel 3 Nate and Iris stare intensely at August. In the background are two motivational posters made by someone who has a passion for graphic design. One depicts a bee and it says "BEE MOTIVATE". The other depicts a rabbit eating a mysterious substance coming from a tube that says "FOOD". The rabbit indicates that he is enjoying this by saying "YUM". The poster says "LUNCH HARD WORK HARDER. On the table is the container that Iris' meal came in. It says "MYSTERY MEAL - MEAT FLAVORED". Mystery Meal comes in multiple exciting flavors such as "VEGGIE, BEAN, PLANT, and LICORICE". Panel 4 Nate's eyes widen in jealousy. Nate: Lucky. Iris: No need to brag. August smiles. He has a lot to appreciate about life at the moment.

Panel 2 Penelope: Sweetie, that's wonderful! I'm so proud of you. Olivia: And Gustopher got a perfect score! Gustopher is looking at his test results. He received a perfect score. If I was a really clever, I would have put some written something interesting on the papers. Unfortunately, I'm not smart enough to know what a test that has received a perfect score would look like so it's just scribbles. Panel 3 Penelope walks up to Gustopher to let him know that she's proud of the good job he has done. Penelope: Good job, Gustopher. I'm proud of you too. Panel 4 Gustopher will remember that. Gustopher smiles and holds his test results closely. He feels happy that he did so well today and it feels extra nice when a friend's parent confirms it. He can't wait to show his dad the test results.
