Spoken like someone who doesn’t have to participate in the Hunger Games dystopia that is the American healthcare system. Usually people who defraud a system at least know how it works.

The real question is not "Why is Bluesky so left-coded," the real question is "Why can't the right exist in a social media environment without algorithmic assistance, where people can ignore them"

I understand that, but @adamkinzinger.substack.com and others like him don’t. They still have blind respect for members of the military and police, and don’t understand that many of us have lost that respect because of so many of the actions of those in uniforms.

Don’t threaten us with, well, justice and a return of sanity.

Not only that, but it destroys the trust in our military. How can we count on them to do the right thing when any of them are willing to do the wrong thing?

I’m glad MAGA is starting to crack. I wish it was happening faster. I also worry that Dem leaders will think it has anything to do with their “strategy,” rather than Trump’s own actions.

That I don’t know. His promise to keep the current commissioner always seemed like a compromise to keep rank-and-file from leaving, though.

But he does appoint the person who IS in charge in the police commissioner, correct? Yes, he’s already promised to keep the current commissioner, but he could always change his mind if this will continue to be the way such things are handled.

But he will be in a month, and it would be nice to know where he stands on this kind of police overreach.
