I'm playing Silent Hill 2 in the pitch black at 11pm, the surround sound is on, the atmosphere is palpable. This shit just gave me a heart attack. Good god.

Heart Eyes had me interested because of the talent in front of and behind the camera but I just found out that it's a Spyglass production so they can keep it.

If I had a nickel for every time the first issue of a Deadpool & Wolverine team-up comic had Deadpool be mind controlled part-way through in a manner that negatively impacts the dynamic I bought the book for, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Firstly fuck Spyglass, I'm not watching Scream 7 anyway but why the fuck are they doing a timeskip? The whole point of the Scream movies is that they comment on horror trends happening now. Last we saw Sidney in 2022 her kids were in a pushchair, not teenagers.

Brilliant high concept: Slashers are a kind of monster, just like vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc, and they have their own rules. Long before Final Girls became their own subgenere, Tim was writing it. So. much. fun.

I finally escaped the apartments in Silent Hill 2 after being trapped in there for like 5 hours of gameplay. I last played a month ago with the hand to the Minutes door & left it, I figured there would be another grueling set of hours ahead, nope, just 30 minutes. Feels great to be outside again!

This was also a gateway horror movie for me, but that's perhaps less cool to admit 😜

I only saw this for the first time this year, it's great fun!
