God I hate George on The Gilded Age. Last week’s episode makes it clear that he’s a huge hypocrite. Always has been.

I don’t normally get emotional at The Gilded Age, but that scene between Oscar and Marian last week punched me right in the feels.

The Naked Gun was a lot of fun. A bit tedious at times, but Neeson is light on his feet. The real MVP, though, is Pamela Anderson. She's a real gem, and she shines in comedy, showing that she's far more than just the butt of the joke.

While I really did enjoy the first two episodes of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, I really wish the Outlander franchise would realize there are other ways to depict the threat to women in the 18th century other than the looming specter of rape and sexual assault.

I watched some of the original and read several of the books. Lost interest when they left Scotland in both cases. Lol. It was very hot, tho! (Minus the rapey bits).

I love Blood of my Blood already. Beautiful people. Lilting Scottish accents. Sweeping vistas. Ugh. I’ve missed this so much.

Just started watching Outlander: Blood of my Blood, and I’m so happy to be back in Scotland again!

Aaah, my MCs of my queer Appalachian romantasy just stumbled across each other in this neat little study in the Guildhall and...I think they might actually kiss? Or maybe just share a pregnant glance and some awkward fumbling?

Even in a revised, more focused draft these characters surprise me.

Something that just makes your day: when one of your neighbors (that you've never met), stops while you're standing outside to tell you how much they love what you've done with the flowers in your yard and to ask to exchange flowers. 🥰

Neither knows that Titus' father wants him to keep an eye on Aemon and neutralize him as a threat and Aemon's mother is forcing him to plan to assassinate Titus. It's juicy stuff!

Damn the words are pouring out of me today. Titus Orestes and Aemon Smelter--the two MCs in my queer Appalachian romantasy--are starting to feel the pull of desire.

I think one of the things I love the most about the new King of the Hill--and the old one--is the extent to which it shows that being a conservative used to mean having a sense of decency and fairness. We sure could use more Hank Hills in this world.

I'm seriously considering subscribing to Starz just so I can watch the Outlander prequel. I fell off the original show once they leave Scotland, so this one seems like it will scratch that original itch quite well.
