You are an AVERAGE, EVERYDAY INTERNET USER. Your friends, however, are known to be IRRESPONSIBLE when it comes to finding cool new ways to pirate media, and are often victims of NASTY COMPUTER VIRUSES. Seriously, the files some of them have managed to get their hands on in the past are GODAWFUL, and have totally trashed their computers. So, you've gotten into the habit of checking in on them from time to time to make sure nobody's stolen their grandma's credit card information or whatever. One day, you have the following text exchange with your friend ABC: "Hey, I heard from XYZ that you weer having computer troubles. You good?" "LMAO what??? Nah, I'm doing fine. In fact, I actually just got access to a sick new video editor! Check it out here: (this is not a virus i promise .exe)" So yeah, that's a REALLY goddamn sketchy response. What do you do? MAKE A CHOICE: "Block ABC, they're been compromised! (page 2)"; OR, "LOL sure why not. *click click* (page 3)"

Despite all common sense suggesting otherwise, you can't resist the call of clicking a funny-looking hyperlink. And that's exactly what you do! As the file starts downloading, you notice your computer fan starts to run into overdrive and-- ah shit. It's malware. Perhaps "BugBoy" can be reasoned with so you can finish reading that ancient game tutorial .txt file you downloaded the other day. Can it be persuaded?

Maybe, in exchange for access to a file or two, you can offer it something-- Something better than money (of which you have astoundingly little,) something else the virus would find valuable. It hesitates. "Something else valuable? ...You know, even though I can tell it's a bluff, you've got an interesting point. Money is worthless to me, since I don't need it for anything." "Cool. So what does a virus like you want?" "Hmm. Well, since I'm mostly made of AI-- not the kind used by wannabe-artist grifters, mind you-- I could definitely use a bit of entertainment. How about a little puzzle?" You guess the virus just wants to watch you flounder for a bit. Weirdo.

honestly I'm a little tempted to leave bsky. it's so very clearly becoming less and less safe for its userbase and, while I like posting shortform and keeping updated on artists and being able to actually post NSFW, I fear it's going to go the way of twitter quickly if something doesn't change soon.

Re: TWST English dub post: Holy smokes, that's a stacked cast. And (knowing a good plenty of the VAs whose roles are in the graphic) the casting choices are pretty damn good too.
